As an active association which maintains a constant participation in the national arena, we have suggested the introduction of several regulations which have become national laws, collaborating in the growth of our National Merchant Marine and the establishment of Panama as an international ship-arrest forum.

Aside from interacting with other professional groups, the Associations hosts, every two years, the PANAMA MARITIME World Conference and Exhibition, which brings together the key players of the maritime industry to discuss and solve the problems which affect the maritime field from time to time.
